obviously as a white american its not really my place to speak on this, but if you left the theater after killers of the flower moon wanting to hear a story of the 1920s reign of terror more focused on the lives of the osage people living it (rather than the white perpetrators), i cannot recommend linda hogan's novel mean spirit enough. incredibly haunting yet beautiful book with such an intricate & complex web of a plot. and much more centered around the fears & hopes of the osage community
